1. run away secretly in order to get married.
Eloping. A secret? Gone are the days that eloping meant running away from your parents get married in secret. In this case, yes, Anj and Amish postponed their mountain wedding in Alberta and made a trip to the Okanagan for a secret Autumn elopement at Quails Gate in West Kelowna.
I believe that eloping is a beautiful way to bring it back to the importance of marriage and focus on your relationship and do whatever the heck you want to do to make it the most meaningful + best day ever to you. It makes my heart so happy to see couples all around the world embracing the idea of eloping and being intentional about what they value. Shoutout to all you couples out there paving the way and doing things a little differently than your aunt thinks you should.
Thank you to this amazing team of vendors for putting together a perfect day ✨

Amish’s reaction to their first look at Kalamoir Park in West Kelowna is one of my favourites ever. You could not wipe that smile off his face.
Came for the fall colours, left as a married couple:
Perfect for wine lovers, Anj and Amish wed in the Wine Library at Quails gate where shelves are filled with samples of each wine produced, even from 30 years ago.
Okay that was cute.
The picnic lawn at Quails gate is unlike any other:
In the summertime, you’ll find this lawn strewn with couples romancing, gatherings of friends enjoying a cheese board and a glass of Okanagan wine… but in the cool November air, we had the entire place to ourselves. Naturally, we danced like nobody was watching, cause nobody was ✌🏼
The most magical sunset to end the year.
Congratulations Anj and Amish!! So happy for you, and despite everything 2020 threw your way, you had a memorable and meaningful day to get married 💓
