How would you describe your style & approach?
Honest. Documentary. Intentional. Timeless. My goal is to deliver photographs that you can look back in 5 or 50 years, and you'll still be sparked with a memory + a feeling. My goal is to create images that show who you are, not just what you wore that day. My shooting approach is documentary with a hint of stylizing; my editing style is reminiscent of film with a pinch of modern, mood & romance, but always something that will stay timeless.

When & how do we receive our images?
Good things take time! Between 8 - 12 weeks after your wedding (depending on the season). You can expect previews a day or 2 after! You will receive them in a beautiful online gallery that you can easily share; download your high res file; and order prints and albums from a professional print shop! 

How many wedding images will we receive?
The number of images depends on how long I cover your wedding. Typically you will receive from 500 - 700 images for an 8 hour day.

Can we see a real wedding gallery so we know what to expect?
Absolutely! Send me an email and I can share a few recent galleries.

Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! While you can download + print photos yourself, through your online gallery you have access to professional print shop with an array of beautiful products that are easy to order. Fine art albums that are personally designed by yours truly can be directly ordered from me.

Do you take family photos at the wedding?
Yes! I know you don't see a ton of family photos on here, but I'll always make sure to help you work your schedule to find time for these important things.

What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
Unless you're a professional model, you probably will feel uncomfortable at first, and that's very normal! For 80% of the day, you don't even need to think about the fact that there's a camera walking around. For the hour of portraits, I'll get you moving, hugging, talking; and in a bit of time you'll get back to feeling yourself. We will make beautiful, awkward, fun, honest, and memorable pictures.

Do you shoot with a second photographer?
Most weddings and elopements I photograph solo - I love being able to blend in to photograph the candid + quiet moments. You will always have the option to book a second if you like! Second photographers are great when logistically it'd be impossible to have coverage in two places at once; when the guest list is 150 or more; or anytime you just want extra coverage.

Where are you based out of?
Kelowna is home #1, Vancouver is home #2 - there are no travel fees for weddings within the Okanagan, weddings in the Greater Vancouver area are subject to a small travel fee. I will also happily travel, take me with you!

Do you have backup equipment & insurance?
Yes and yes.

What are your Covid rebooking policies?
If there is a government mandated lockdown or ban on weddings/elopements due to Covid that makes it impossible for  to proceed with your wedding/elopement we can reschedule your date to a mutually agreeable date within 12 months of your original date. Additional reschedules or reschedules for other reason are subject to a rescheduling fee.
